Carrasco, Kermes Oak (Quercus coccifera) Plant Study

Our group spent 2 days studying Carrasco or Kermes Oak (Quercus coccifera), observing the serrated leaves which give an indication of it's ability to cut out as the name Carrasco or executioner suggests. The male flowers were more abundant than the female flowers and last year's mature acorn was present at the same time. The group was inspired to make a male flower essence with the therapeutic indication of giving courage to cut out and remove what is no longer needed.
