Making Pokeroot Tincture

Pokeroot is indicated to clear lymphatic congestion. As the name suggests it gives quite a poke and is only needed for a short duration to treat acute conditions such as mastitis, tonsalitis and other glandular challenges such as ovarian cysts.

It is a schedule 20 poison and the maximum weekly internal dose is 8 ml. It needs a high alccolic concentration of 45% for extraction and can be used externally in poltices. It makes a perfect combination to disperse stuckness by infusing directly into castor oil.
