Medical Astrology has been a mainstay alongside herbal medicine since Ancient Egypt and reached its Golden Ages with Arabic research in the 12th century and Medieval medicine spearheaded by Culpeper, Lily & Gerald in the 16th century before it was forced underground during the witch hunts.
Since 2018, the incorporation of Medical Astrology into my herbal practice has further expanded clarity and precision into clinical diagnosis and remediation. This fascinating approach to understanding and working with herbs is exactly the way our ancestors approached prescribing herbs and there is an unmistakably strong energetic alignment to working with herbs in this way.
How to Join these classes
Saturdays run from 10-5pm & Sundays from 9-4pm and can be paid in cash on the day for in person. See below to book your place in advance.

Who this is for & What you will learn
These weekends will benefit anyone with an interest in applying astrology in a health setting to provide more specific information to help both preventatively and via treatment. All herbal enthusiasts from herb lovers to herbal students and practitioners, as well as all other healthcare professionals will gain valuable insights and tools to how they can help themselves, family, friends and patients.
PART 1:- We will be going through an introductions to the qualities of the 12 Zodiac signs (and the parts of the body they rule), the main planets & celestial bodies, the 12 houses, the 4 main angles of Ascendant, Descendant, MC & IC. We will look at how these all interact with each other via aspects, zodiac sign and house positioning, how this affects the body, constitution, strengths and weaknesses and more importantly, what to do about it!
To this end we will be looking at real natal charts, starting with those of participants who are comfortable with sharing their chart in the group. These will be selected via a pulling out of the hat basis and we will try to get through as many charts as possible. This will be a hands on experiential learning by looking at each other´s charts.
PART 2:- In Medieval times, they didn't have the luxury of times of birth, so most Medical Astrologers were using Decumbiture charts or when the person had to take to their bed. The precision of information from these Event charts is profound as it gives information not only of the person and the issue (the querent & the query), but the relationship between the patient and the practitioner, the nature of the actual medicine indicated (which planetary rulership of herbs to use and approach of treatment) as well as what is involved as the patient`s self undoing and the course of the health issue by following the course of the moon, crisis moments, when best to treat etc. I will be illustrating this fascinating approach using actual event charts or consultation charts which are always incredibly accurate.
